How to start a vegan community kitchen

Founded in 2012 by Sarah Bentley, Made In Hackney has grown to work nationally – and now globally – to tackle social isolation, health inequalities and build community through plant-based community cooking classes and a meal delivery service.

About the event
In this one-hour session host Sareta Puri will talk with Sarah about:
1. The key first steps to start a vegan cookery school and kitchen.
2. The challenges faced in the early days and how to navigate them.
3. How get your project off the ground.

When you register a place you can submit questions in advance for us to cover and there will be time for Q&A at the end of the session.

To get the most out of this session it is recommended that you register for the Global Plant Kitchens free training course.
